What do I need to know?
We know visiting a new church can be a bit daunting, so we’ve answered a few questions you might have. What time does church start, when should I set my alarm? New Life Church Centre kicks off at 10:00am on a Sunday.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
How do I get there?
If you select here you can get directions to us. There is limited parking on the church front car park and a second car park, clearly signed which is 15 metres past the church building.
Are kids welcome?
Absolutely – we love kids. At our 10:00am service we have a full kids programme for anyone aged 4-14yrs. The Life Kids’s programmes start after we’ve done a couple of worship songs (so around 15 minutes into the service). The kids break off into two groups (4-9yrs and 10-14yrs) and split into two rooms both situated on the first floor. Children are served juice and biscuits in their programmes and are returned to the main church hall at 11:30am. We have a crèche facility for parents with young children, packed with toys, changing unit and a video/audio link to the main service.
Please note there is no provision for children during the 6:00pm Sunday evening service but children are welcome at both services and the crèche facility is available for all parents at both services. Children can be provided with colouring activities during the evening service. There is a warm welcome waiting for you at New Life Church Centre this Sunday!
What do you do when it’s over?
Glad you asked. At New Life Church Centre we place a high value on hospitality, so at the end of the 10:00am service we have tea, coffee and biscuits to enjoy. It’s all for free, so help yourself.
What happens during the service?
Sunday 10.00 am
Our Sunday morning service runs for 90 minutes and offers lively and meaningful worship, communion and a thoughtful talk based on the Bible. We often include creative media at different times to enhance understanding and engagement for everyone.
Refreshments are available after the service, served in the side room to the right of the main hall Children and young people have their own activities alongside the Sunday morning service in Life Kids. There is also a crèche for babies and toddlers with a video/audio link to the main service for parents/carers to watch and listen.
When you arrive you will be welcomed at the door and new comers get the treat of a goody bag which tells you a little about us and a large block of chocolate (pays to say you’re new!) Our heart is that you will experience a friendly, normal bunch of people who love God and doing their best to love others.
